LFW Street Style: Anna Kompaniets

Monday, February 21, 2011
The artistic alter egos of London fashion fiends were out in force last Friday when Hayley and I hit the streets around the London Fashion Week.

We were looking for the most original, inspiring and creative make-up looks and the cultured crowds of London gave us exactly what we were looking for, so we will be posting all this week on the looks that we have found!

First up is Anna Kompaniets, a 22 year old make-up and performance artist.

What inspires your look?

"I am inspired by costume, costumer jewellery and ancient symbols like hieroglyphics found in Ancient Egypt,  and symbols from Greek and Roman mythology. I also love body art and painting and love to translate this on to my face! I am a performance artist so always pushing my creative boundaries"

Recreate the Look

To create the beautiful, fine floral pattern work that Anna has created, try using Precision Ink in 'Abyss' for a glossy black finish.

To add colour, dust a small amount of Powder Eye Shadow in 'Stalk' underneath the eyes and blend out using Blending Brush II. Add a touch of shimmer with Pure Pigment in 'Lust'.
Add lots of Volume Mascara to ensure that your eyes don't get lost within the eccentric pattern! Finish with a matt red mouth - try Lipstick in 'Sangers' from the Throb Collection to really get pulses racing ...
